The pool at Villa Yemna measures 21 metres long by 4.5 metres wide, with a depth of 1.5 metres. These proportions let you genuinely swim, swimming proper lengths at sunrise or at the end of the day, rather than just cooling off. Treated with salt rather than chlorine, the water is gentler on skin and eyes and stays remarkably comfortable across a long stay.

Its true asset is the heating on request. Marrakech enjoys generous sunshine for much of the year, yet winter months and shoulder-season evenings naturally cool the water. Heating then lets you enjoy the pool whenever you wish, including in December or January. Entirely private, the pool is reserved for guests of the estate alone: no overlooking neighbours, nothing shared with the outside. Around the water, the terraces and shaded corners of the park let you move between swimming and quiet rest in the shade throughout the day.

Pool heating is an option you activate on request, not a permanent setting. In practice you simply book it for the dates you want: heating is charged at £80 per day and can be arranged on request, before your arrival.

The pool is never an island: it sits within a one hectare private estate given over entirely to your stay. Villa Yemna combines a 300 square metre main riad with four independent suites of 60 square metres each, totalling 8 bedrooms and 16 beds, enough to gather several families or a large group of friends while preserving everyone’s privacy. Each suite has its own private terrace with an open view of the Atlas.

Around the buildings, the one hectare park unfolds across landscaped gardens, an olive grove, a rose garden and date palms. The estate even produces part of what reaches the table: olive oil pressed from its 80 olive trees, dates, honey, eggs from our own hens, and seasonal fruit and vegetables. The result is a calm, self-contained stay, far from the bustle of the medina yet only minutes from the essentials of the red city.

The experience does not stop at the water’s edge. A private sauna helps you recover after a long swim, and a fully equipped gym (Pilates Reformer, rowing machine, dumbbells, punching bag) supports anyone keen to keep up a routine during the stay. Hammam rituals can also be arranged on request. Outside, a private floodlit padel court, a mini football pitch, a petanque court and a table-tennis table round out the activities.

For the evenings, the fire pit naturally extends the afternoons spent by the pool, this time under the stars. Together, this wellness and sport offer makes the pool the starting point for a stay that can be as active or as restful as you like, ideal for families, groups of friends and wellness retreats alike.

Beyond the pool, Villa Yemna feels like a home placed entirely at your service. Breakfast is included with every stay, and our cooks can prepare authentic Moroccan menus daily (around £30 per person per meal); for a special occasion, a private chef is available on quote. The concierge handles the rest: grocery shopping, restaurant bookings, activities, and excursions to the desert or the nearby golf courses.

On the practical side, the estate offers high-speed fibre throughout, private parking, and airport transfers arranged on request. The villa was deliberately designed for disconnection: there is no television, but a 4K projector for film nights by the fire pit. An on-site team takes care of daily cleaning and, on request, laundry, so your only job is to enjoy the pool and the grounds.

Villa Yemna enjoys a location at the gateway to Marrakech: the calm of the countryside, the view of the Atlas, and immediate proximity to the region’s main points of interest. The golf courses (Royal Golf, Al Maaden) are about 10 minutes away, karting around 15 minutes, La Mamounia roughly 20 minutes, and both central Marrakech and Marrakech-Menara airport (RAK) about 25 minutes.

The villa sits under no flight path: no aircraft noise, only the quiet of the countryside and complete privacy across a hectare of private gardens. You are close enough to reach the medina, the golf courses and the airport with ease, yet far enough to wake to birdsong rather than traffic.
